Motrac Research Engineering Limited is a company born out of a successful and award winning collaboration between Motrac Race Engineering Limited and The University of Chester.

The company represents a natural progression building on a growing demand for expertise in areas of environmental sustainability and associated product development and draws from nearly 40 years of industrial experience.

We specialise in advanced emissions and atmospheric measurement technologies, with proven deployments in automotive, mining, power generation and carbon‑capture environments.

Motrac has always operated at the intersection of academic research and applied engineering. Our work spans technical consultancy, field‑based testing, proof‑of‑concept development and the design of bespoke emissions monitoring systems.
